Sell Free Articles - plug-in for JTL-Shop

Many shops have to put their articles on request: with "articles priced 0 can be bought" set to no, JTL-Shop shows "price on application" instead of an add-to-cart button on every 0-EUR article - without exception. That exception is what this plug-in adds: the shop stays in request mode, selected articles are sellable anyway.

Typical cases are samples, giveaways, specimen copies, digital extras or service items that should ship along free of charge, while every other price stays on request.

Behaviour

Articles carrying the Wawi functional attribute sell_free (value 1, Y, yes or true) can be bought despite the blocking shop setting.
Every other free article stays on request - the shop setting itself is left untouched.
Set on the parent article it covers all variants; a child article with its own value decides for itself.
Instead of "price on application" the shop shows either the price (0.00 EUR) or a text of your own - on the product page, in category and search listings, in boxes and sliders, and in the compare list and wish list.
Sold-out, not-yet-released and unsaleable articles stay blocked - the exception covers the 0-EUR rule only.
The item stays in the cart, and the shop completes the 0.00 EUR order as paid on its own.
No shop file is modified.

Requirements

JTL-Shop 5.7.
A NOVA-based frontend template (for the price display; buying works without it).
A valid licence, activated in the plug-in's License Tab.
