Online Licensing App – LicenseManager

Anyone selling software or digital products needs one place where licences are created, checked and renewed. LicenseManager is that place – and it runs on your own server, not at a service provider.

The application manages licenses, products and updates through a web interface and offers two programming interfaces: one that stays compatible with existing LicenseBox clients, and a new REST interface for everything else.

Main features

Manage licenses: create keys, assign them to products, set terms, review activations – all in one interface.
Products and updates: every product carries its releases; clients fetch from here whatever their license covers.
Bind to a domain: a license can be tied to exactly one website. The comparison tolerates spelling – https://www.Example.com/ counts as example.com. Left empty, it stays “any domain”.
Bind to a product: on request, activation also checks that the key really belongs to the product being asked for – otherwise a license bought for product A unlocks product B as well.
Two interfaces: v1 speaks the old LicenseBox endpoints, so shipped clients keep working unchanged. v2 is a REST API under /api/v2 with a bearer token.
Expiry in view: the application sends reminders before a license runs out.
Access under control: per-user permissions and two-factor sign-in for the backend.
Bring your existing data: existing license stocks can be imported.
