Don't sell an item yourself but point to a partner shop instead? The crispy Affiliate Links plugin marks individual articles as an affiliate product and replaces the cart, the product-question button and the stock information on their detail page with a “Go to product” button that links straight to the partner site.

Main Features

Mark individual articles as an affiliate product via the functional attribute external_link, with the target URL as its value - no template changes required.
The button reliably replaces the cart box, quantity field, stock information and “ask about this product” - including on configurator articles, the cart matrix and product bundles.

How to set it up

In the JTL-Wawi article, create the functional attribute external_link and set the partner shop's target URL as its value. Once the article is synced, its detail page in the shop shows the button instead of the cart box. Label, target tab and click counting are configured in the plugin settings and via the calButtonLabel language variable per shop language.

Setting it up in JTL-Wawi

Only articles carrying a functional attribute named external_link get the button. Its value is the full address of the product page in the partner shop, for example https://partnershop.com/article-123. After the next sync the article detail page shows the button instead of the cart box. Every other article stays as it is.

Settings

Plugin active - turns the replacement in the frontend on and off.
Open target in - new tab or same window.
Count clicks - switch it off if you do not need the statistics.

Button label

The label lives in the language variable calButtonLabel that ships with the plugin. Enter your own text there per shop language, for example “Buy at our partner”. You do not need template access for that.

Statistics

The Statistics menu item shows clicks per article for 7, 30 and 365 days. Counting runs through a signed redirect link. What gets stored is the article, the date and the number, no IP address and no user agent, and the plugin sets no cookie of its own.

If the button does not show up

Is the attribute named exactly external_link?
Is the value a full URL starting with http:// or https://?
Is Plugin active set to Yes and the licence activated?
Was the article synced after the change and the shop cache cleared?
With a custom frontend template: it has to inherit the article detail blocks from NOVA, otherwise the cart box stays in place.
